Passenger Door Header Retrofit

Due to various fleets of rolling stock receiving different manufacturer's door systems when first commissioned, TTM rail was requested by our customer to carry out the retrofit of a single type of door system into the mis matched vehicles.

Not only were components for the replaced door system obsolete, but the cost benefit of such a modification was achieved on many other levels, from reducing the number of different spare parts required, to minimising driver and technician training.
